Thoughts on the Gear

“The sail has a lot of power and I think it suits my style super well, it felt great straight away.”

“I’ve only been riding Duotone for a few months and I’m really enjoying it. The sails feel stable and confident even in the smaller sizes. Everything feels fast and strong, and the freestyle foil gear is no different. Stable on the water, great pop, and the feeling that there is a lot more to get out of the gear.”

-Bodhi Kempen

“The board is for sure the fastest I’ve ever used, but the thing I enjoy the most is the way it slides. The Skate slides way more parallel to the waterline than other boards I used in the past. It doesn’t ride the nose that much but more the area in front of the mastfoot. In that way it keeps much more speed while sliding and makes moves like double shakas so much easier.

“The sail is still one of the most consistent ducking sails out there. If 20 or 35 knots, I don’t need to adjust my ducking to the conditions. The super short boom length also helps for the ducking to be faster 🙂 Since the newer updates on the Idol it also breaths more and gives more room to build up the Pop.”
