Relive the Action from the 2025 FPT Boot Düsseldorf Invitational.
January 8, 2026
The start of the 2026 Season of the Freestyle Pro Tour is right around the corner, with the Tow-In Invitational at the Boot Düsseldorf once again serving up a dose of indoor action to open the season up for the second year in a row.
Last year’s Boot Düsseldorf event served up a full-send freestyle showdown inside a packed indoor arena. The tight pool, spectators lined up, cheering at the edge of the water, and zero margin for error turned every run into a make-or-break moment, as the rankings shuffled and re-shuffled with each run. Riders adapted to the unique setup, the Air Funnel Burner quickly became the benchmark, with the world’s best throwing everything they had into a space where crashes often ended against the pool wall. In a best-move-counts format, Lennart Neubauer delivered a signature masterclass in consistency, while Maaike Huvermann dominated the women’s fleet under pressure, holding off a strong challenge from Elena Dominick.

With the FPT returning to the indoor stage from January 23–25, all eyes are now on Düsseldorf as the world’s best prepare to go head-to-head once again. Get ready – this year’s bound to deliver, and the full fleet announcement is coming soon!
