The Champions have been Chosen | Your 2025 FPT Awards Winners

Its a wrap! The votes are in, and the panel have decided. The 2025 FPT Awards are officially here! After weeks of community voting, we’re thrilled to announce this year’s champions across all categories. From jaw-dropping Best Moves to breakthrough progression stories, 2025 was an incredible year for freestyle windsurfing.

Best Move – Men’s

Winner: Lennart Neubauer – Spock Triple Culo (Guriú, Brazil)

This combo is insane and the judges all agree! The first-ever on-camera Spock Triple Culo from Lennart in Guriú, Brazil nets him the Best Move of 2025. This is what pushing the limits of freestyle windsurfing looks like.

Community Vote Winner: Balz Müller – Switch Shifty

Best Move – Women’s

Winner: Maaike Huvermann – Spock Kono (Fuerteventura)

Technical mastery is Maaike’s middle name! After the conclusion of the Community Vote, Judges Panel, and Management Panel, Maaike ads yet another trophy to the cabinet with her near perfect Spock Kono from Fuerteventura.

Community Vote Winner: Živa Batis – Skopu

Style Master

Winner: Jacopo Testa

Who else could it possibly have been? Closing out the year with some absolutely incredible moves from Brazil, Japo just keeps it coming all year round with his signature style, especially for the second half of the year ending 2025 with a bang. The Italian machine rides again!

Community Shredder of the Year

Winner: Balz Müller

Mr. Freestyle himself! Balz Müller is a fun loving innovator of the sport who’s always shredding, always smiling and always sharing the stoke. There’s nobody who embodies the spirit of freestyle more than him! Balz Müller is Your 2025 Community Shredder of the year!

Men’s Most Improved

Winner: Konstantinos Nikoletos

UNREAL progression! After watching FPT Naxos in 2024, Konstantinos got hooked on freestyle and never looked back. From his first Airjibes to landing a Skopu in under a year, we hope to see him ripping it up in competition sometime soon!

Women’s Most Improved

Winner: Lisa Kloster

It’s been the year of the regular Duck for Lisa – unlocking Culos and Kabis on top of a whole arsenal of other moves. Combine that with strong results across different competitions, and she’s more than earned the Most Improved title. Congrats Lisa!
